Active or Productive?
Hey,
Lately, I’ve been sitting with one simple question.
Are you active or are you productive?
Some days are full. Messages, edits, organizing, tweaking, planning. You’re doing things all day long and still, at night, something feels off.
Because being busy feels productive. It often isn’t.
Being productive actually moves something forward.
I’ve learned that staying busy can sometimes be a way to avoid the one thing that really matters.
The uncomfortable step. The honest decision. The thing that would actually change something.
So instead of pushing harder, I want to leave you with a few questions. No rush. No pressure. But be honest.
- What did you do recently that truly moved your work forward?
- What kept you busy but didn’t really matter in the long run?
- What’s the one step you’ve been avoiding even though you know it would help?
- What would change if you took that step and nothing else?
You don’t need perfect answers. But you do need honesty.
Sometimes clarity alone is already progress. Sometimes one uncomfortable step changes more than a hundred busy days.
Take care, and keep moving with intention.
