Someone Is Listening
As artists, we all know that feeling - you write, record, and drop something you truly believe in… and sometimes it feels like nobody’s really listening. No feedback, no numbers, no noise.
But here’s what I’ve learned over the years: you never know who’s listening.
I’ve had moments where I found out way later that artists like Onyx, The Game, Royce da 5’9”, Papoose, Ras Kass, Bugzy Malone, or Ty Knitty from Infamous Mobb had been in the studio vibing to my beats - and I didn’t even know it at the time.
Imagine if I had stopped creating back then. What a motivation it would’ve been to know in that moment - but that’s the beauty of this journey: you’ll never know.
Maybe right now someone’s hearing your lyrics for the first time. Maybe it’s a kid who feels seen because of your words. Maybe your story just gave someone else the strength to keep going.
That’s why you have to keep doing what you do. Not for the numbers, not for the algorithm - but for the people who connect with your truth, even in silence.
Keep creating. Keep showing up. Enjoy the journey.
You never know who’s listening.
